While Choccie Bar has established taster experiences of truffle-making in it's alchemy nights and chocolate making for it's Junior Chocolatiers, the numbers have been steadily growing as has the demand for more info on the dark arts of the Chocolatier. To satisfy those who seek enlightenment on such dark arts as taste design, chocolate moulding and tempering we have created the:

What will I learn?
Choccie Bar Masterclasses give you the opportunity to experience a working chocolate studio. Working alongside our Chocolatier, you will gain insight into tempering, moulding, decor and flavour design.

What are we making and what do I get to take home?
Since you'll be providing the inspiration for your flavourings, you'll almost certainly be taking away a set of truffles as well as a set of bars which you'll be tempering and filling ...
What should I wear?
Apron and materials are provided - participants are asked to wear non-fibrous, warm clothes, grip heeled shoes and long hair must be in a bun, plaited and up or covered - hairnets are provided!
What will the event cost?
£65 per person -
When do the Masterclasses run?
Masterclasses tend to run on Monday or Tuesday mornings 8.30 - 11.30 or Monday afternoons, 2.30 - 5.30 - we will do our best to accommodate your needs and timings however.

The Choccie Bar Studio on the first floor of our Choccie Emporium at Choccie Bar, 29 Gandy Street, Exeter EX4 3LS.
